Our Claims team is more than a group of individuals responsible for securing claims outcomes. We work collectively to review the coverage purchased by our clients on an ongoing basis. The value of an insurance contract becomes clear when a claim arises. By applying lessons learned from previous claims, including identifying which aspects of coverage created tension, we are able to continuously improve the insurance product we deliver.
Each account is assigned a dedicated Lumen Claims professional who will manage your claims throughout its lifecycle. They are involved in the process from renewal onwards, not just stepping in once a claim is notified. This ensures we maintain a strong understanding of your business, your relationship with insurers, and the insurance product you have purchased. As a result, when complex claims or coverage issues arise, we can negotiate proactively with insurers – not just on the basis of policy wordings, but also by drawing on what was agreed at renewal and the wider context of your insurer relationships.
